Have you always wanted a flower garden but thought you lacked the space?
Want a porch garden?
Or a balcony garden?
Rooftop garden?
Tiny front door garden?
Tiny back door garden?
I got you.
I love flowers and it is my mission to see beautiful bouquets gracing everyone’s home.
Joy blooms in small places, too!
Let me show you how to have your own tiny flower garden.
When my family moved to the US in the 80s, the first thing my parents did after buying their first home was put in roses. My grandparents had an allotment in the middle of an industrial city in Poland and grew veggies and dahlias. My grandfather even had a beehive and I remember eating the honeycomb that he brought home, honey dripping down my chin, fingers and usually getting all over my shirt.
When it was my turn to put in a garden I rejoiced when my landlord said yes to my request of taking over a hard patch of land next to the driveway for my new garden. I nurtured and cultivated this 150 sq. ft plot growing tomatoes and cucumbers and herbs. But my heart yearned for flowers.
I craved the
heady smell of roses when I walked into the back
blaze of glorious color that dahlias and zinnias bring to midsummer
bees and hummingbirds cavorting amongst the blooms
I converted my veg garden to a cutting garden and have joyfully spread my bounty of luscious blooms to my friends and neighbors for the last several years.
Flowers are pure joy and bring sunshine and warmth to the people who receive them. It's an awesome feeling to bring this bounty to the people you know and love.
